Purchasing Guns From Us...

We can ship your gun(s) to you or you may wish to come personally to the UK to collect them and spend a few days enjoying the English countryside and possibly do some upland hunting or driven pheasant or partridge hunting with us.

If You Wish To Come...

You will need to have a "Visitors Shotgun Permit" issued by the Derbyshire Constabulary ( we will obtain  this for you at no charge), or European Pass, in order to take delivery / use your guns in the UK. When you are leaving the UK, the Customs Officer will need to see one of these items prior to the gun being checked on board with your other personal baggage. This is a very quick procedure and usually takes only a few minutes at the time of checking in for your trip home. Please note that when you arrive in your home country, you must declare the guns as having been acquired in the UK and meet your usual duty and local licensing regulations ( see below)

Shipping Guns To You..

It is not necessary for you to come to the UK and we are pleased to ship your guns. The documentation that  must be secured in advance of us shipping the guns to you will depend on your home country, and here is what you are faced with.

For Our UK Customers..

Please note that U.K. residents, require only a valid shotgun certificate to acquire guns from us.

For Our US Customers..

You will need to  obtain an Import license from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Fire-arms (BATF). by completing the appropriate form (Form 6) that may be found on their website. It usually takes a few weeks to obtain their approval. Once we have a copy of the BATF approved Form 6, and a copy of the FFL from your local friendly firearms dealer, we will obtain a UK export license and ship the gun insured and properly packed by air freight to him. Please note that the name of the dealer who will receive the firearm, must be on the approved Form 6.

You can expect to pay about 4% duty on the Invoiced price as well as approximately $ 25 -40 to your local FFL dealer for receiving the gun on your behalf.
For Our EU Customers..

In all EU countries, the prior import consent is required from relevant government or police department handling  shotguns usually without fees. They will issue you with an letter of authorization or an International Import Certificate authorizing you to import the gun. Once we have received this we will obtain an export license and the gun will be shipped and should be in your possession in one to two weeks.

For Our Canadian Customers..

We have exported several guns to Cary Stricker who is a licensed Fire-arms dealer in Canada. Please contact Cary to discuss his fees, at M&S  if you would like him to do the importation for you, or alternatively you maybe able to do the paperwork yourself.

You will need to have a valid FAC or PAL Canadian firearms license and  obtain ( usually takes one to two weeks) an International Import Certificate (IIC) From the Export and Import Controls Bureau (Tel: 613 996-0257) of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, 125 Sussex Drive in Ottawa, Ontario. A simple one page form is all that is required and there is no charge for this International Import Certificate.

Once you have received the IIC, which will have our name on it, as well as the name of the gun and its serial number that you are acquiring from us, then send the original of this IIC to us and we will obtain a UK export license and air cargo the gun to you. It will arrive at customs in your city and you will need to go and pick it up by showing your valid FAC or PAL license and paying the PST and the GST ( totaling 15%) of the Invoiced price.
